Cold weather is coming to Ukraine: forecasters told where to expect rain and snow.

Forecasters predict cloudy weather in Ukraine on Thursday, December 26. Light rain with wet snow is expected at night and in the morning in the south and southeast of the country, while no precipitation is expected in other regions. Western areas may experience some icy conditions. Fog is also possible in these regions at night and in the morning.

The speed of the northeastern wind will be 5-10 m/s, while in the southern regions, gusts may reach 15-20 m/s.

The air temperature will range from 2 to 3 degrees Celsius throughout the country, while in the western and northern regions at night, it is expected to be between zero and minus 5 degrees. In Crimea, it will be warmer - from 1 to 6 degrees above zero. In the Carpathians, it will be colder: at night from minus 5 to minus 10 degrees, and during the day from minus 1 to minus 6 degrees.

In the Kyiv region, cloudy weather is expected without significant precipitation. The speed of the northeastern wind will be 5-10 m/s. The temperature in the region will drop at night to minus 0 to minus 5 degrees, and during the day it will be from 2 to 3 degrees Celsius. In Kyiv itself, at night, 1-3 degrees of frost is expected, while during the day the temperature will remain around zero.
