Argentine footballer Nicolas Fernandez Merkau refused to move to the Russian 'Krasnodar'. This information was shared by the Russian Herman Grova on his page on the social network X.
The Russian club had already agreed to the transfer, but Nicolas decided not to move to Russia due to the situation with the war in Ukraine.

In the previous season, Nicolas Fernandez played 36 matches for 'Elche', scoring 7 goals and providing 10 assists. According to Transfermarkt, his value is up to €2.5 million.
It is worth noting that 'Krasnodar' became the champion of Russia in the previous season, receiving their first title in history. The club was founded in 2008.
