Diamond League: A New Season Begins

The Diamond League is the most prestigious commercial athletics competition held worldwide since 2010. These competitions take place in several stages throughout the entire summer season.

Top athletes and Olympic champions participate in the Diamond League. In the 2024 men's final, the winners were Mondo Duplantis, Gianmarco Tamberi, and Jakob Ingebrigtsen. Among the female champions were Femke Bol, Faith Kipyegon, and Valarie Allman. An equally impressive achievement was reached by Yaroslav Maguchikh, who secured her third victory of the Diamond League season in the high jump sector.

The 2025 season will start in Xi'an, China, on Saturday, April 26. Ukrainian athletes Yaroslav Maguchikh and Yuliya Levchenko will participate in the women's high jump. The 2025 season is set to include 15 stages of the Diamond League. Their schedule will be available on the Suspilne platform.
