The Cabinet of Ministers approved the initiative for volunteers to shoot down Russian drones. The Ministry of Defense decided that this would be beneficial for the country's air defense during the regime of martial law.

Volunteer groups and training
Members of volunteer formations, individuals not subject to mobilization, as well as those who already have experience working with drones can join the volunteer groups. They will undergo training at national resistance centers.
Organizational aspects
Volunteers will be able to detect, accompany, and shoot down enemy aerial targets using various equipment and weapons, reporting to the Territorial Defense Forces. They will receive rewards for countering Russian aggression and may also receive equipment and weapons from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
