Who stopped the exhumation? Ambassador reported the details of the information diversion arranged by Russians in Poland.

In Poland, Russian disinformers attempted to carry out an attack by sending a fake letter from the Ukrainian minister and a fake video to provoke negative attitudes towards the exhumation work. This was reported by the Ambassador of Ukraine in Poland, Vasyl Bodnar.
According to the ambassador, after the adoption of the new law in Poland, information appeared that Ukrainian Minister Mykola Tochitsky had halted the research in Puzhnyky. This disinformation was supported by a fabricated video featuring statements from the head of a group of experts from Poland, who confirmed these claims.
«
This Deepfake triggered a backlash: Ukrainians and Poles united against Russian propaganda», the ambassador noted. In response to this disinformation, Minister Tochitsky published an article about the historical process and reconciliation, which the Ukrainian side promptly translated into Polish.
This resulted in the issuance of a permit to continue exhumation work in Zboishchi in the Lviv territory. The swift and joint response of Ukraine and Poland helped avoid blocking these works from the Ukrainian side and supported the normal progression of the matter.
The Ukrainian ambassador in Poland spoke about the attempts of Russian disinformation aimed at damaging the exhumation work in the country. The quick response of the Ukrainian minister and the exchange of the article translated into Polish helped avoid obstacles in carrying out these procedures and support mutual understanding between the countries.
The Ukrainian side demonstrated a rapid and decisive response to Russian disinformation attempts in Poland, which allowed them to avoid difficulties and continue exhumation works with the support of Polish partners.
