Media League Club expelled 16-year-old blogger who asked Seleznyov to communicate in Ukrainian.

In the Odesa media football club Odesa Football Media Team, a situation arose due to 16-year-old blogger Renat Popruzhnoy, who urged FC Armat player Yevhen Seleznyov to speak in Ukrainian. This displeased the club's management, and they decided to terminate cooperation with the blogger because of this incident. Odesa Football Media Team stated that using language issues for PR is unpleasant, and such behavior is disrespectful to the team.
«The actions of player Renat Popruzhnoy and, primarily, his father – Artem Popruzhnoy – we, Odesa Football Media Team, consider a sign of disrespect to our team... using language issues for PR is unacceptable...»
The club apologized to Yevhen Seleznyov and the entire media football community of Ukraine. Seleznyov himself reminded of his support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the importance of his position for Ukrainian society. Responding to the blogger in Ukrainian and noting that he knows four languages, he also inquired about the blogger's age.
