Products continue to rise in price: prices for bread, lard, and bacon have jumped in Ukraine.


The prices of bread, lard, and bacon in supermarkets in Ukraine have increased, reports the Minfin portal.
Ukrainian consumers continue to prefer basic food products such as bread, lard, and bacon. These products are not only traditional for us, but also contain essential nutrients. The current state of prices for these products as of March 18 is shown.
Bread products:
Wheat bread (sliced, 650 g) has increased from 38.79 UAH to 40.65 UAH, which is a 4.8% increase.
'Tsar Bread' (sliced, 600 g) has changed little in price - from 40.83 UAH to 40.81 UAH.
Meat products:
Homemade lard (1 kg) has increased its price from 232.47 UAH to 239.70 UAH. The cheapest lard can be purchased at MegaMarket for 200.40 UAH/kg, while the most expensive is at Novus for 279.00 UAH/kg.
Bacon 'Ukrprompostach' (1 kg) has increased in price from 458.88 UAH to 465.60 UAH. Prices for bacon range from 401.10 UAH to 499.00 UAH, with a gap of almost 25%.
