Rescuers saved three people from a drifting ice floe in Cherkasy region
On Sunday, February 16, an ice floe broke off on the Dnipro near the village of Topylivka, where three people found themselves: a 14-year-old teenager and two adults (21 and 41 years old). The distance to the shore was about 200 meters. Rescuers who arrived at the scene lifted the three individuals from the ice floe and brought them to shore.
The rescued individuals were examined by paramedics.
Earlier in the Odesa region, three children fell through the ice in the village of Korsuntsi, but they could not be saved. Also, in the Kherson region, five children fell through thin ice, but they managed to get out on their own. In the Dnipropetrovsk region, in the city of Samara, two 15-year-old teenagers fell through the ice, but they were also rescued.
