The Armed Forces of Ukraine, led by Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi, reported the successful elimination of Russian saboteurs who attempted to break into Pokrovsk in the Donetsk region.

Ukrainian forces successfully hold positions in the Pokrovsk and Novopavlivka directions, repelling enemy attacks. Syrskyi emphasized that the attempts of Russian saboteurs to capture Pokrovsk were in vain and were promptly eliminated.

The Commander-in-Chief, along with the Minister of Defense, noted the necessity for the Armed Forces to receive new weapons and equipment for effective resistance against the occupiers. These measures are aimed at improving the combat readiness of the Ukrainian military.

Particular attention was given to the successful combat activities of the Armed Forces units in various directions, including the 225th Separate Assault Regiment and others.

'We keep working, shoulder to shoulder,' concluded Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi.

Earlier, there were reports about the Russian troops' intention to encircle the city of Pokrovsk in the coming months, as well as to bypass the defense line of the Ukrainian military in Donetsk region. Meanwhile, military actions in the Dnipropetrovsk region are not taking place, but combat actions have been recorded near this region.
