Electricity Consumption is Rising. 'Ukrenergo' Addressed Citizens.

In Ukraine, there is an increase in electricity consumption, so energy experts urge residents not to use powerful electrical appliances in the morning and evening. Currently, there is a power deficit in the energy system in the morning and evening, so specialists urge avoiding the simultaneous use of several powerful electrical appliances during these periods.

The reason for the increase in consumption is cloudier weather in some regions, which reduces the efficiency of household solar systems. As a result of strong wind gusts and damage to utility networks, some localities in the Sumy and Cherkasy regions remain without power.

'Ukrenergo' plans to restore the lost generating capacity that was lost in the spring due to shelling by the Russian Federation. It is expected that the measures taken will make it possible to ensure power supply in Ukraine during the winter and avoid outages that occurred last year.

Additionally, the European Commission, G7 countries, and other partners have raised over $4 billion for the restoration of Ukraine's energy infrastructure following the Russian invasion.
