Ukrainian collectors are currently actively searching for unique hryvnia banknotes with various defects that can bring unexpected profits. Rare specimens can sell for high amounts, making them very attractive to collectors. Special attention is paid to coins made of precious metals, which can have significant value compared to regular coins that are worth less.
For example, a five-hryvnia banknote from 1992, which had a serious printing defect, was sold for 17 thousand hryvnias, and a hundred-hryvnia banknote from 2014, which was worth 5500 hryvnias, also gained popularity among collectors.
Such cases indicate that hryvnia banknotes with defects can have high value in the collectors' market, so the search for rare specimens should continue.
