Traffic will be blocked at the Darnytskyi overpass in Kyiv for half a year
On one of the main avenues of Kyiv - the overpass near the 'Darnytsia' metro station, traffic is planned to be blocked for half a year.
This was announced by the press service of the municipal corporation 'Kyivavtodor' on their Facebook page.
Drivers will have to use the temporary traffic organization scheme until the end of the year.
Traffic near the 'Darnytsia' metro station will be restricted due to the reconstruction of the overpass at the intersection:
- Budivelnykiv Street;
- Brovary Avenue;
- Sviatoshyn-Brovary metro line.
These restrictions for drivers will last from February 8 to November 30, 2025.
'Please note that during the reconstruction, vehicle traffic on the overpass will be governed by a temporary traffic organization scheme approved by the Patrol Police Department in Kyiv', - emphasized in 'Kyivavtodor'.
Additional warning signs will be installed with objective information about detour routes during the repair work.
Ukrainians are also reminded that this overpass was built in 1963 and has not undergone major repairs since then.
Specialists will begin dismantling the structures of the overpass:
- they will remove the worn bridge deck;
- they will dismantle the span structures;
- they will carry out the dismantling of supports and foundations.
'The municipal corporation 'Kyivavtodor' apologizes for the temporary inconveniences and urges drivers to plan their routes carefully', - emphasized in the press service.
We remind you, the KMVA has planned changes for Kyiv residents.
