In the German city of Passau, a 48-year-old man drove into a crowd, resulting in five people being hospitalized. The incident occurred on June 7 around 3:30 PM near the city’s central train station. According to police information, among the injured is the driver's 38-year-old wife and their five-year-old daughter. Three of the injured are in serious condition.

The police do not rule out the possibility that the man did this intentionally, however, they are currently investigating all circumstances. The suspect has been apprehended.

Events in Liverpool and Barcelona

Previously, similar incidents occurred in Liverpool and Barcelona. In Liverpool, a car drove into a crowd of fans, injuring at least 17 people. In Barcelona, before a La Liga match, a car drove into a crowd of fans near the stadium, resulting in at least 13 injuries.

According to preliminary data, the car first hit a woman, after which the fans surrounded it and tried to inflict harm. After that, the driver moved forward, hitting several fans, with a total of at least 13 injuries.

Following the incident in Passau, where a man drove into a crowd, similar incidents have also become more frequent in Europe. It is worth noting that such actions can have serious consequences, which is why authorities and law enforcement are intensifying security measures to prevent such situations in the future.
