In Poland, Ukrainians can receive funds for dental treatment: what to do.

In Poland, starting January 3, 2025, a new benefit has been introduced for people paying for health insurance - 600 zlotys (6138 UAH) for dental services funded by the National Health Fund (NFZ). This was reported by the publication inPoland.
What the benefit can be used for
The benefit covers a wide range of dental services that may have been financially burdensome for patients before. Panoramic radiography (panoramic X-ray) of the teeth, jaws, and maxillary sinuses, which can be done once every five years. Preventive procedures, including tartar removal and regular oral examinations (three times a year).
How to use the program
To access free dental services under the new program, you need to:
- Be insured by the National Health Fund (NFZ),
- Obtain a referral from a dentist.
The referral should include a justification for the need for the examination. Using the benefit allows avoiding significant expenses for private dental services.
- An oral examination costs 80-100 zlotys (818-1023 UAH) per visit.
- Tartar removal - 150-250 zlotys (1534-2557 UAH).
- Panoramic radiography - up to 200 zlotys (2046 UAH).
By the way, the minimum wage in Poland is nearly six times higher than in Ukraine. Starting January 1, in Poland, a full-Time worker can earn at least 4666 zlotys per month (approximately $1120).
We remind you that this year Ukrainians in Poland will have the opportunity to obtain a CUKR card. This card grants the right to legal residence in the country for up to three years.
