Ukrainians' Favorite Berry Becomes Cheaper: What Will Happen to Prices Next?.

Cherry prices in Ukraine are rapidly falling due to bad weather, which has negatively impacted the quality of the berries. Wholesale prices in the southern and central regions of the country have dropped significantly, analysts from EastFruit reported.
Currently, one can pay 115-160 hryvnias per kilogram of cherries. This is 18% cheaper than last week.
Experts explain that the quality of cherries this year is not the best due to the rains, so producers are forced to lower prices to sell their harvest, even at a loss. However, overall prices remain 95% higher than last year.
Even Cheaper Cherries? Why Not!
Market leaders expect that due to the increase in supply and poor quality of the product, cherry prices may continue to fall. Therefore, another price drop is anticipated as soon as next week. We recommend not delaying your purchase while the product is still available!
Ukrainian cherries are becoming more affordable, but it is unknown how long this price decline will last.
Bad weather has affected the quality of cherries in Ukraine, lowering prices for this berry. Information about a potential further price decline may encourage buyers to make their purchases faster while the product is available.Read also
