In Australia, the Prime Minister renames the approaching cyclone.

The Australian Bureau of Meteorology has decided to change the name of the tropical cyclone to avoid confusion with the name of Australia's Prime Minister Anthony Albanese. This information was reported by 9news.
Meteorologists have already decided to name the cyclone 'Alfred', instead of the planned name 'Anthony'. The reason for this decision is that the Prime Minister's name would have coincided with the name of the cyclone and could have caused confusion.
To avoid similar situations where the name of a cyclone coincides with that of a famous person, the Bureau of Meteorology changes the naming order to the next letter of the alphabet.
Generally, tropical cyclones approaching Australia are assigned male and female names in alphabetical order. Currently, two cyclones are approaching the shores of Australia. The first one, originally named 'Anthony', will head towards the northeast coast and will avoid the continent, moving further east and southeast over the next week.
The second cyclone, moving towards the west coast of Australia from the Indian Ocean, will receive a female name 'Bianca'. Across the ocean, it will weaken, but is likely to approach the state of Western Australia.
Scientists warn about the increase in hurricanes due to climate change. Over the past 6 years, wind speeds in Atlantic storms have increased by 29 km/h due to the warming of ocean waters. This leads to more powerful and frequent hurricanes.
