Departure to Moldova Complicated - Situation on the Roads of Odesa Region.

On Monday, July 14, enormous traffic jams towards the checkpoint to Moldova are recorded on the Odesa - Reni highway. Expect to wait in them for several hours. However, there are significantly fewer traffic jams on the way to Romania today.
This information was obtained by Novyny.LIVE from the mapping web service Google Maps.
Traffic Jams to Moldova
Several huge traffic jams have formed near the 'Palanka - Maiaki - Udobne' checkpoint. They are also observed on the way to it - near the village of Maiaki. Expect to wait there for more than 3 hours. As for 'Staro-Kozatske - Tudora', the passage is also somewhat complicated there. According to the mapping service, there are no queues recorded near the checkpoint in Reni.
Traffic Jams to Romania
There are currently no traffic jams near the nearest ferry crossing point to Romania, the 'Orlivka - Isakcha' checkpoint. Near the Kofa canal, which is finishing repairs, no traffic jams are being observed yet. The trip from Odesa will take about 5 hours.
We remind you, we recently wrote about new requirements for drivers traveling to Moldova. And also about what documents you need to take with you to Romania.
Border crossings can be long and tedious, especially on the way to Moldova. However, the situation is slightly easing if you intend to go to Romania. It is better to check the map before starting your journey to choose a less congested route.
