Own Business: Ukrainians Received 200 Million UAH for the Implementation of Business Ideas.


The State Employment Service has announced the results of the 'Own Business' program, according to which 602 entrepreneurs will receive microgrants totaling 157 million hryvnias for the development of their businesses. This will allow the creation of almost one thousand new jobs.
Among the recipients of microgrants, the majority are women, and the most active regions of the program are Kyiv Region, Lviv Region, Kharkiv Region, Ivano-Frankivsk Region, and Odesa Region. Many participants in the program have higher or specialized secondary education, and young people aged 18 to 25 will receive support for their business ideas.
Overall, since the launch of the 'Own Business' program, over 26 thousand microgrants have been allocated and 48 thousand new jobs are created or planned to be created.
Grants for Veterans
As part of the veteran direction of the 'Own Business' program, grants totaling 42 million hryvnias will be provided to 87 veterans, allowing an increase of 169 jobs. More than half of the veteran-entrepreneurs participated in combat operations.
Since April 2023, more than 1800 veterans have implemented their business ideas thanks to the 'Own Business' program, creating over 3500 new jobs.
The 'Own Business' program continues to support entrepreneurs and veterans in creating their own businesses, contributing to the creation of new jobs and the development of the country's economy.
