Today, the Verkhovna Rada, during its session on July 16, decided to dismiss the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal and his government. New appointments in the Cabinet of Ministers are expected to be announced tomorrow.

Changes in the government

Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak reported that the parliament voted for the resignation of Shmyhal's government, gathering 261 votes. 'Now all ministers are performing their duties temporarily, but tomorrow a new Prime Minister is expected to be appointed, and this chaotic situation will come to an end,' he wrote.

'Now all ministers are 'acting', tomorrow a new Shmyhal is to be appointed and this bed-moving shall be concluded',
Deputy noted.

Recall that on July 14, President Volodymyr Zelensky proposed Yulia Svyrydenko to head the government of Ukraine and carry out its radical renewal. He also expressed a desire to appoint Denys Shmyhal as the Minister of Defense of Ukraine.

The Ukrainian parliament supported the decision to dismiss Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal and his government. Changes in the government are expected, and soon we will find out what political steps the president and the new Prime Minister will take for the further development of the country.
