Ukraine is completing preparations for screening with the EU in the field of water legislation.

The Ministry of Community and Territorial Development announced the holding of simulation sessions under Chapter 27 'Environment', where issues of water supply and wastewater management were discussed.
These meetings are crucial in the context of meeting European environmental protection standards, which will ensure quality drinking water and effective wastewater management for millions of Ukrainians. The measures aim to harmonize Ukrainian legislation with European norms and improve the country’s infrastructure.
The results of these measures will be reflected during the joint meeting of Ukraine with the European Commission in June, where the implementation of EU environmental directives will be discussed.
Simulation sessions under Chapter 27 'Environment' took place to prepare Ukraine for cooperation with the European Union in the field of environmental protection. These measures are an important step towards meeting European standards in water supply and wastewater management, contributing to the improvement of the lives of Ukrainian citizens.
