Putin Fears the US, Thus Reduced Strikes on Ukraine — Zelensky.

During the two nights following the arrival of American General Keith Kellogg in Ukraine, there were no massive Russian bombings. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated that this pause is evidence that Russia is consciously changing its shelling tactics during visits by high-ranking US officials to Kyiv.
According to Zelensky, after the arrival of the US special representative Kellogg to Ukraine, Russian troops ceased massive nighttime shelling. The President believes that such caution from Moscow indicates the fear of dictator Vladimir Putin before America.
'General Kellogg arrived in Ukraine — and for two consecutive nights there have been no massive bombings. This is a very interesting example. People are even joking: we should give General Kellogg a Ukrainian passport and leave him here, as Americans should come more often, because then Russia will bomb less' — said the head of state.
According to Zelensky's statements, Putin tries to blackmail and intimidate, but avoids full escalation due to the risk of direct response from the US. The President believes this shows that Putin fears America.
For instance, during the night of July 14, Russian troops launched four S-300/S-400 guided missiles and used 136 strike drones. The night of July 15 was also tense, with the enemy attacking with 267 drones. US Special Representative Keith Kellogg arrived in Ukraine on an official visit on July 14.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that the cessation of shelling by Russian troops during General Kellogg's stay in Ukraine is considered evidence that Russia is showing caution and fear of the United States' ability to control the situation. Additionally, Zelensky noted that such a reaction from the Russian regime confirms its attempts to avoid direct conflict with the US.
